CATCH UP!

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't really updated much! Everything here has been kind of crazy and just trying to get organized with school beginning and stuff!

I'm not really sure where I left off but I will start with this past weekend!

We went down to Roma for the second time and without supervision. It was pretty awesome except for the fact that it was FREEZING and raining! It was aweful yet awesome all at the same time! I got my first cup of Gilato which is ice cream here and it was DELICIOUS! Best ice cream I have ever had!

Sunday was our day off which was much needed. We all basically caught up on some sleep and made travel plans. We planned our Spring Break which is going to be AWESOME! We are planning on going to Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Munich, and Venice. It is going to be a BLAST! And on my birthday I will be in Venice on the beaches so it is pretty sweet!

Yesterday classes began and it already got stressful! There is TONS of reading already assigned on the first night but I think it was just to kind of scare us because after looking at the syllabus it did not seem that bad!!! Didn't do much last night just had dinner and our weekly Monday night meeting for 2 hours which was LONGG! About 2 hours! It kind of stunk especially with all of the reading we had to do.

Today was the same thing, we just went through the second round of all of our classes. Once again, lots of reading but that's okay! I'm sure we will all survive!

Well, I guess that's it for now! I have just been livin it up here in Roma! It has definitely been quite an adventure! The only thing I can say is that I wish it was warmer and less rainy! Because cold and rainy does not go together AT ALL!! hehe but that's okay I'm still having a blast and don't worry I'm still safe! Big Kurt is keepin an eye on me!

Well, I miss all of you guys here! We have our first trip this weekend coming up and going to Naples! But it's about time to shower and get to bed! Been a long day and need to rest of for tomorrow!

First few days

Hey guys!! What an adventure this trip has been thus far! It is beautiful here and it is still hard to believe that I am really in Rome! The flights went okay it was just a really long day but I am glad to have gotten here safely!!! Getting on the different sleep schedule has been difficult but today was definitely better! We are about 7 hours ahead here than back home in Texas. We have just had a lot of orientation stuff but this afternoon we were able to go down to Rome and actually see some sites and stuff. I have posted pictures and hopefully dad will send those out to you guys! If not just let me know!

We went to mass in the Vatican today and it was pretty awesome. The church was beautiful!!! I can't even describe it with words but it was definitely a site to see!

Well, It is time for me to post the pictures and I should be getting to bed soon! I have a long day of meetings tomorrow and i'm sure I will be tempted to fall asleep!!!

But I miss all of you guys back home but it has definitely been a ball here thus far!
